Its "Kumiko Lantern," a lighting fixture utilizing the traditional Japanese woodworking technique of kumiko, has been selected for the "Century Story" project, which highlights exceptional historic brands from Niigata. The company sources Akita cedar from a small, family-run sawmill and repurposes leftover wood. By crafting kumiko products through precise woodworking to 0.1mm accuracy, their artisans continue to preserve this traditional craft for future generations.
